This is one of the last parcels of land in a beautiful private protected setting with wooded surrounds close to Auckland. The other part-owners have expressed their intention to develop a community of dedicated Meditators on the site with the support of Maharishi Foundation and are seeking a partner who will participate in the project and help bring their plans to fruition.
The Maharishi Spiritual Capital of New Zealand building below was opened in 2001. This 375 sq m building is the home for the New Zealand movement. It is on the Maharishi Foundation land which is sheltered on three sides by the Maharishi Vedic Academy land. We have consent from the Auckland council for 7 further homes on the MVA land. One next generation family has plans finalised and will be ready to start building soon, two others are in the pipeline. The Movement also has consent for further buildings. We hope we will be able to obtain a new resource consent in future to allow more homes and a bigger community.
